Editorial: OK, let’s talk NAFTA

There is no need for ultimatums. NAFTA has been good for both countries. In reality, Obama is using the idea of reopening the deal to soothe fears that America is losing jobs — jobs that are actually going to China, India and other developing nations. That makes his pledge largely political. But Canada should not be afraid to hold Obama to his word. |
